Smitty’s Wings & Things
I love finding small places with good eats. I don’t really care for fine dining or an exceptional dining atmosphere. With that said, today I stopped by Smitty’s Wings & Things:
I started noticing this cart off of Main Street near Chanellos and the Car Quest just a few weeks ago. Turns out, it’s only been [...]

tragic, I know
For the past month or so, I’ve been waking up each morning in prayer. Not the kind you force yourself to do, not the kind you do out of discipline, but just a genuine attempt to love on God as soon as I’m half conscious. Every day I tell God that the day is His, [...]

“For culture-war conservatives, I suppose my music lessons could be considered at best fluff, at worst a subversive challenge to the notion of a classical eurocentric education. Lately I’ve [...]

summer time is cooking time
Some of you remember the cooking streak I went on last summer. This summer is slightly different. I’m not living at home. I’m actually at JMU until mid-July for graduate school. I also don’t have a meal plan anymore. During the school year, I either ate on campus, or ate out. Every day. In retrospect, that [...]
